The EZ Source Enterprise Server is the addition of the mainframe agents to EZ Source Application Mapping, connecting operations, frameworks and application environments, providing a complete IT Landscape mapping. The agents map the current operational landscape and the mainframe infrastructure (Sysplex, Lpar, DADS, CPU, libraries, etc.), linking the actual IT assets and application components to their physical location and resource consumption.

All the information collected by the agents is stored into the EZ Source relational database repository. Each change of the environment, infrastructure or applications is replicated in the repository and notifications are provided accordingly. The updated repository allows for real-time data synchronization that enables data consistency and accuracy among distributed instances of the same mainframe-based information. Sources are accessed directly in a read-only mode, saving the need to constantly ftp the sources off the mainframe.
