microTOOL Suite .NET is based on actiF – an agile development and project management process. actiF is more than just a process description. In combination with in-Step – the tool for process and project management in the microTOOL Suite .NET – actiF helps you plan projects and automatically control their workflows. in-Step makes the course of a project visible for the whole team by displaying all of the project's activities together with their current states of development.
And in-Step does even more: It acts as a configuration management system to manage all of the project's results.
In agile development, requirements – often referred to as stories – play a special role in the application being developed. in-Step doesn't just manage all of the versions as with the other project results. Stories are created directly with the tool and assigned to a release or iteration for editing with just a click of your mouse for easy project planning.
